Update on Julep Taylor

When I posted my Julep Maven blog post on my Facebook page, Citizens Of Beauty mentioned that her polish had started chipping on the second day. I was hoping that my Zoya base coat and Zoya top coat would prevent premature chipping - and to my surprise, my Julep Taylor manicure was chipping!

I did my nails on Tuesday afternoon and by Thursday morning I noticed significant chipping on the tips of my nails. I was too busy with my prenatal appointment and TV shopping to snap photos of my 2nd day nails, but I did get some pictures of it on Friday morning while drinking my decaf coffee and catching up on blogs. I wear a LOT of polishes throughout the month, and I use a LOT of different brands, and none of them chip this bad by the 2nd & 3rd days! I`m being 100% honest too! Even my $1 ELF polishes last up to 4 days before chipping starts to show, and even then it`s mostly just fading on the tip edges and very tiny chips on the edge corners.

I was and still am pretty disgusted by this massive chipping going on with my nails right now - not feeling it. OH! And I should point out that currently I`m not even doing as many chores as I normally would (I`m too pregnant to get all my chores done), so I`m not doing any rough work to even make them chip. I love this shade, but it`s looking like a 1 day mani so far.
