For many years now people all over world have taken advantage of "unlocking" their cell phone or smart phone. What exactly is "unlocking" a phone? It is when you separate your phone from the original carrier that it was tied to when you purchased the phone. Ex. You buy a sprint Iphone 5 it is automatically locked to the carrier which is sprint. Now when we unlock the phone we now have network freedom and can use this phone with any carrier we so please to, but money savings and increasing the value of your handset are also great incentives.
Now According to android community it is now illegal for a person to unlock a phone without the "without carrier consent." Which can be a future issue because no carrier want to willingly unlock a phone and loose a customer! So lastly a small word of advice, try to buy your next phone already factory unlocked!... Comment below and let me know what you think! :) Thanks
