I went to Ulta yesterday hoping to leave with a new foundation, but ended up with mostly skin care items.
I needed new brushes and saw that there was a buy one get one 50% sale on Ecotools and Real Techniques brushes. I picked up the Bamboo Finishing Kabuki and the Recycled Retractable Kabuki. I haven`t used them yet, but the bristles are very very soft! Then I went to the drugstore skincare section. I was looking for a new toner because right now, I`ve been stealing some of my mom`s Lancome toner. Hahaha. Since I heard many good things about Tea Tree oil, I decided to pick up this C. Booth: Tea Tree Therapeutic Toner. It was on sale for like $5 or so. I checked on my phone for its reviews before paying, and it had really reviews, so it was a steal! Formula 10.0.6 had a buy one get one free sale, so I picked up some pore strips (ran out of my Biore pore strips!) and the mud mask. I also picked up the Mario Badescu Drying lotion because of an active break out. Ew. So, I decided to try it out since alot of people on YouTube seems to like it. So far I REALLY love this stuff. My break out has reduced alot since last night. (:
Then today I went to MAC, because I wanted to get the Studio Sculpt foundation after seeing fashionista804`s `What foundation is perfect for you?` video awhile back. It was my first time at a MAC store, so I had to get my skin color matched with the correct color. I got matched to NC 35. I thought I owuld be NC40, but they said it would be a little to dark. Anyways, the girl that matched me with the foundation also put the MSF Natural in Medium Dark, on my face. I originally was just going to get the foundation by itself, but I liked the combination of the foundation and the MSF so much, I decided to get both. (:
