UEFA confirmed on Friday it is examining the alleged abusive chants against Mario Balotelli during the meeting between FC Porto and Manchester City, following the complaint by the British delegate to the game of UEFA.
Asked by the agency Lusa, the source of the body`s communication office said the "Manchester City UEFA delegate denounced the alleged abusive chants directed at Mario Balotelli and UEFA will consider the issue and see if there is any evidence available."
"It is not possible at this stage to say what might happen, since it depends on the information that UEFA has received, including through its reporting of the delegate and the referee," concluded the source of UEFA.
Yaya Touré, player of Man City, told Sky Sports News: "I heard something."
"That`s why we like the Premier League, it never happens there. Maybe other countries don`t expect black players."
The leaders of Futebol Clube do Porto have come to deny any racist chanting at the stadium but the truth is that the video is over we can confirm their existence.
Futebol Clube do Porto will now be severely punished?
