Been on the hunt for some brighter polish recently and just had to pick up some from Essie`s summer 2011 brazilliant collection. Also, I never thought I`d consider doing this but I might go on a polish no buy. Most polishes I`ve only used just once so after wearing the rest of my newer polishes I`ll be going back to my older shades. May even try out doing designs, easy ones only though. If all fails? Back to polish buying :D
Polishes I picked up:
Absolutely shore - A light pale green that leans towards white.
I lack a lot of lighter greens in my stash especially one as light as this. Pretty unique in my collection BUT Essie formulas have not been working well for me lately because of the streaking, they`re worse even when they`re as light as this one. Both of these added together equals a frustrating manicure session that I`m dreading. Boooo. I haven`t even worn my whiter shades because of this. No worries though, I`ve already planned out what these will be used for if things don`t work out.
Super bossa nova - A shimmery bright fuchsia
Feels like forever when I last had a bright pinky colour on my nails. I think I only have one polish like it. I think? Having quite a few polishes that I`ve forgotten what colours I own LOL. It was weird seeing this one. Just realised that majority of the Essies I`ve seen or owned are mainly cremes. I don`t remember seeing a lot of glittery/shimmery polishes so to me this felt.. new? Would like to see how this one would look when the sunlight hits it.
What do you guys think of these polishes? Do you own any fo these or any other from the collection?
