Turkey and Pesto Pinwheels

Hey Luuuxers!

I`m here with a quick little recipe for you all!
With all the holiday parties coming up, this is a perfect appetizer, or potluck item.

It`s also versatile so you can customize it anyway you want.

The basic two items that you need for pinwheels are cream cheese and tortillas. For this version, I added some pesto and parmesan to the cream cheese and rolled it up with deli turkey slices.

I combined the cream cheese, pesto and parm really well and spread a thin layer over a tortilla. Next I added the deli slices and proceeded the roll the tortilla up pretty tightly. I then want the roll to set before slicing so I wrapped them in saran wrap and put them in the fridge for about an hour. The best part about these is you can make them a day in advance and let them set in the fridge until you are ready to serve!

Once you are ready, you unwrap the plastic wrap and slice them about an inch thick. I usually just snack on the end scraps, since they aren`t so pretty, but I like to put toothpicks in the ones I will serve so they definitely won`t unravel! Another option is to make sure they are sitting seam side down.

Im very silly, since I remembered to take pictures along the way, but forgot to actually take a picture once they were done!
Instead I borrowed the last picture from the website where I got my inspiration.

These pinwheels are great and a lot of fun! You can also make them as a snack or even take these for lunch instead of a typical wrap.

I love making these and mixing it up. I have made them with turkey or with ham - I`ve added olives or diced bell pepper to them and even some kale! Limitless possibilities!
