Hello, this is an old family recipe that is a go to for a quick weekday meal.
2 large cans of tuna (I prefer the ones in oil, but the type in water is still good) (drained)
1 large family size can of Campbells Cream of mushroom soup
1 bag of no yoke noodles
1 can of sweet peas (drained)
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup bread crumbs (any type, but I prefer the garlic butter)
Optional 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
cook your noodles according to package directions.
meanwhile, combine the tuna, cream of mushroom, and sweet peas in a large bowl. Add in the milk and mix well. When the noodles are done, mix that in as well.
grease your casserole dish (I use I can`t believe its not butter spray) and pour in the tuna mix. Toss on the bread crumbs and if you like the cheese.
bake for 25 minutes or the sides are bubbly
