I hope youre all having a good day =)

So I havent been eating healthy at all especially because of exams and since so many projects, labs and assignments are due all at once. So my sister and I were home alone and I decided to make a very healthy dinner (since we usually dont eat heavy dinners). So I made a plate of veggies and we shared a plate of fruits (which were sliced kiwi)

For the Veggie Plate:
I chopped up some mushrooms and broccoli, and I steamed them. Ive steamed broccoli before; however, Ive never steamed mushrooms, but I decided to give them a try anyways. And it was a big no no, no matter how hard I tried I couldnt get the water out of the mushrooms. So I looked at it online and apparently youre not supposed to steam mushrooms because they absorb water and instead youre suppose to sauté them only. So I ended up sautéing them afterwards to get rid of the water. Then I seasoned them with salt and pepper. Afterwards, I chopped up some baby tomatoes and cucumbers and I included them on the dish. Overall with some light salad dressing, the dish was great
Although its not a huge step in eating healthy, its a start. Starting next week, my goal is to start eating a lot healthier, and Im going to start working out regularly, its about time that I start living a healthy life!
