Trip to Washington DC Part II

All photos are mine. You do not have permission to use.

Day two in DC!

We ate breakfast and headed out to the Smithsonian Museum of Asian Art~

The sculpture in the first photo runs all the way from the ground floor roof to the bottom of the third floor, which is underground and connects to the African Art museum.

(You can read about the sculpture in the second and third photo)

They had some wonderful Ancient Egyptian things in the African Art Museum and
I wanted to take some photos there as well, but most of the exhibits did not allow photography.

So much wonderful pottery, stone, and metal work!

I love the color of tarnished copper<3
Such a beautifully vivid blue/green!
(fourth and fifth photo)

They also had a huge collection of jewelry and other accessories, which I was all about, of course. lol
(sixth and seventh photo)

They also had a section of Hindu and Buddhist gods.
This is my hubby next to Shiva, if I remember correctly.
(eighth photo)

In short, it was beautiful and we had loads of fun!

Have you ever been to this museum?
What did you think/see?
What is your favorite of the photos I took?

After this we headed to the Zoo!
Stay tuned for part III to see cute animals! :D

Hope you enjoyed!
thanks for reading<3
