The other day a friend and me decided we needed get out the house and we ended up at Las Americas lol. Whenever I have the chance to go I always take advantage of that. I live in Oceanside Ca and Las Americas is located right next to Tijuana, Mexico. The area is San Ysidro, Ca. So thats like a good 45 min drive, well depending on traffic it could be a little more. Im glad that on this particular day there wasn`t any traffic and it was a breeze getting there.
We were also lucky that it wasn`t that packed. All the stores were shop-able without it feeling too crowded or anything. If you`ve ever been there then you`ll know its pretty big and you will def get tired walking around. Las americas has over 125 stores and although we didn`t go to every single one, it sure felt like we did.
Being that its so close to the border most of the employees speak spanish BUT they know english too. I honestly love that they greet me in spanish and that some stores have spanish music playing. its a really pretty place and everything is well kept too. They also have places to eat and little snack kiosks just in case you get hungry but don`t want anything to heavy. I love all the different stores that they have and that the environment is super friendly. My friend and I had a great time.
