I started off the last holiday season with these somewhat homemade truffles. Very easy to make, and taste so delicious. One package of oreos, all smashed up with 8 oz. (?) cream cheese. Smash until evenly mixed. What I did was put it all in one large Ziploc freezer bag, and used the flat side of a meat mallet. Melt one package of Baker`s chocolate. Roll the Oreo & cream cheese mixture into little balls, coat in the melted chocolate, and stick all that in the fridge. I find that it hardens pretty quickly, but just to be certain they are presentable, leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours. Or even easier, just do it at night and leave it in the fridge overnight. For my co-workers, I wrapped a few in some cellophane and some blue ribbon. (I don`t know why I did that, since they`re mostly guys and don`t give a damn about presentation.)
