While doing some search i found out this app that it actually has been around for some time now but only now i have learn about it.
So you know when you visit a foreign country with a language that you don`t really understand, it can be difficult to get around. Having that in mind, app devolpers created this app called Word Lens and what it does is when you point your iPhone to something that has a text on it you will get the real time translation using the camera. How neat is that?!
The app is free but there is a "catch". To get different languages in the app you will have to buy what they call "language packs" and it will have different languages, like Spanish to English, French to English, etc, with the price of 10$ each.
Looking at how the app works and that is a well developed technology that works in real time without internet connection, i would say its something that its worth the money if you do visit countries that speak those languages a lot. They could make the language packs cheaper, but the app is a great concept and seems to work perfectly.
What do you think of this app?
Do you visit places with different languages than yours? Do you struggle with that?
