So I was SUPER excited to get my new Tory Burch flats from Nordstrom in the mail and wear them out for my friends bday on friday. I got the classic reva with the gold medallion
well...i wore them out and they hurt my feet ALL NIGHT. the size length wise was perfect, but the top edges of my feet (where ppl usually get bunyons) were being pinched so hard that by the end of the night i could barely walk. AND it`s not like i went dancing! we went to dinner and a drinks lounge after! these were supposedly the most comfortable flats according to my friend (and imagination).
i put them on this morning again to make sure one last time, and they hurt just standing in them (even though there was no lasting damage from last night).
sucks, but i returned them this morning (btw nordstrom is great at returns. With the receipt and they didn`t even blink in accepting shoes back even though the heels were scuffed). i think my feet are just shaped weird cause i tried several more pairs on today and everything felt weird unless it had elastic at the forefront of the shoe. I know it sounds like i have something wrong with my foot, but i think they`re just wide (i actually tried a Wide size on today but it fell off-so not wide enough to consider that sizing). There was no bruising or scratches from last night.
anyways, off my rant. as cute as the gold hardware was (and matched my cute black leather/ gold chain crossbody) i had to give em up.
tell me: ever had a similar experience? any suggestions? tired of my bitching? lol. share your thoughts! (hopefully they`re friendly despite my rant)
