Torrid Haul for Autumn
I wanted to share a quick haul with you all. Now that fall is quickly approaching, I wanted to get some items that will be good for the cooler weather. I ended up taking advantage of the great deals http://Torrid.com had to offer. They also introduced a new loyalty rewards system this summer, and I had some credits that I wanted to use.
One of the main reasons for this order was because I also needed to replace one of my boots from last fall/winter since they were falling apart. I buy a pair or two of boots from Torrid every year, and while they don`t last much longer than a season or two in Canada, they aren`t too expensive either. Plus winter in Canada can be really harsh, so sometimes it doesn`t matter how much I spend on a pair of boots, they will get ruined anyways! I bought a pair for 300 dollars one year since they were supposed to last, but they fell apart just as quickly in our rough weather. I would rather spend below 70 dollars (Torrid boots, are usually around the 60 dollar mark) if I`m going to have to replace them sooner rather than later. These boots have an elasticized panel in the calf, and lots of strappy details. With the sale they had going I ended up getting these boots for just over 50 bucks.
Besides that, I was also looking to place an order for the blue top you seen in the picture. I actually bought that same top in black on my trip to New York recently, and I loved it so much, I wanted to see if they had it in any other colours. It only comes in the blue and the black, but if they come out with any other colours, I would probably buy them as well! It`s a simple v-neck top with black trim, but the real detail is the open, tulip back. I absolutely love the look! When I bought this in black in store, it was 39 dollars, but I ordered it for 28 dollars.
I was also tempted by a top in their Malificient collection. They have an entire collection of clothing inspired by Disney`s Malificient, and while I wasn`t a fan of the majority of items, I did like the look of this asymmetrical top with a feather print. There are lots of little details like the faux leather trim on the sleeves, the zip back, and even a little bird skull charm on the zipper. This was a bit expensive at 37 dollars.
The last item I picked up was a simple t-shirt with a graphic typewriter print that says, `love is not the answer`. It was on clearance for 16 dollars, but I was able to pick it up for just 12 dollars.
I also bought a pair of patent t-strap sandals, but since I had already worn them, I forgot to take a picture! They were on clearance as well for under 20 bucks. (So maybe these weren`t exactly a `fall` purchase lol)
I`ve realized looking at this picture that most of the items I chose are really dark but I guess that works for the fall.
