How many times did you reach for the liquid paper to fix a mistake on your work? Did you ever stop to wonder where the idea came from?
Well, a mistake prone secretary named Bette Nesmith Graham was once watching workers painting on a window display. Whenever they made a mistake, they would just paint over. So she thought she would do the same. She decided to make her own magic brew at home. It worked so well that her fellow secretaries wanted it too. She was so successful that she eventually patented (in 1958) liquid paper has been famous ever since.
