The first time I saw this palette I thought wow I love the feminine design. I know that this has been out for a while now but I really wanted a good chance to play with these products before posting a review.
I received this as a gift for Christmas and let me just get it out there that I was not disappointed at all :) This palette comes with a full size shadow insurance, 15 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer and 1 highlight. As an added bonus there are three instructional look cards that are clear and easy to follow. So lets begin...
Well really whats not to love? I enjoy this primer formula very much and I actually prefer it over the UDPP as I find it just a bit more creamy to apply. It boosts shadow colours and lasts all day with no creasing.
These shadows have a nice silky formula and fantastic colour payoff with the exception of one shade, Peach fuzz which is the second from the left in the top row. You get 3 matte shades, 9 shimmer shades, 2 glittery shades and one duo-chrome shade.
I swatched some of my favourite shades and they are from left to right.... Copper Peony, Teddy Bear, Party Girl, Label Whore, Nice Stems, First Dance and Smolder.
Again I am pleased with the performance of the blushes they are very wearable and last all day long. you get one matte shade and one shimmery shade... Cocoa Rose and Sweet Pink.
Now I must admit I don`t use this as often and not because i don`t like it, but because i prefer a highlight without so much shimmer to it. The texture is silky smooth just like the other products here, it`s just not the highlight I reach for on a regular basis.
This Chocolate Soleil bronzer has become my number one go to bronzer hands down. I love this product and use it daily. Not only for bronzing but for a nice natural contour as well. For me this is a must have!
I hope you enjoy this review and I would love to hear your thoughts on this gorgeous palette!
