So when I went to Vegas while in the States, I got a chance to peek into Sephora to see if they had anything I wanted and because the Sephoras in the States are just so much cheaper than in Canada T_T
So I`m a big fan of zooming to the sale section at Sephora (call me cheap but o wells!) to see what deals they have but they`ve gotten smarter haha! So after checking out the sale section I walked over to the Tokidoki aisle and noticed some goodies on sale! I ended up picking this palette, which is the Hercolino Palette (I hate their names...so complicated) because I wanted to try out their shadows!
So it did originally come with a plastic makeup bag, but honestly, that bag was not really useful to me, so I gave it to my sister instead for her. So first off, I love the designs of Tokidoki and their palettes, its fun and fresh and on the plus side, with these palettes, you get a charm too! So when its opened, there are 6 shadows, almost near full sized, their full sized shadows I believe are 0.07oz, while the shadows in here are 0.06 oz. So I got 6 almost full sized shadows for a good price...that`s a good beginning!
So on the left side of the palette, the three colors are Profumo, Elettrica and Ippo (also in the same order in the swatch picture from left to right the first three colors).
Profumo is a baby pink shadow with minimal shimmers in it, I found this to be a bit chalky and almost too sheer to see on my skin :(
Elettrica is an army green with gold shimmers in it, its really pretty but again a bit chalky!
Ippo is a gorgeous purple and brown fused together, its so pigmented and rich...CAN YOU TELL I LOVE THIS COLOR LOL!
So on the right side, the three colors are Patatino, Lion Pappa and Hercolino (the next three colors in the swatch picture).
Patatino is a creamish gold color that doesn`t have much glitter in it, its a nice color!
Lion Pappa is a beautiful copper, its so pigmented and just good for an everyday shadow!
Hercolino is a dark brown shimmer, I was hoping for this one to be pigmented, but it was the chalkiest of all BOO!
So for the palette, originally it was $28 USD (since I bought it in the States) but it was on sale for $19 USD, which I think is okay, but when 3/6 of the shadows are chalky, it made me wonder whether or not it was a good purchase! But now I have it, I`ll use it!
Do you have this palette? What are your thoughts on Tokidoki nailpolish?
*Pictures are mines!
