Hey everyone. I`m on my path to eating healthier (watch, I`ll post something greasy next -_-") by eating more veggies and going organic. So the first thing I thought to make was chop up some cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. Dust them with salt/pepper and there`s my `veggie` dish. Next I fried up an egg, some soy ham, sliced cucumber and slapped it in between two slices of whole grain wheat bread. Lastly, to add some dairy, I filled a 2 oz cup with low fat cottage cheese.
I was pretty pleased with myself for preparing such a healthy meal. Although it wasn`t the BEST tasting meal of my life, it was still really good and filling. I didn`t finish all of this in one sitting so I ate it for a snack before dinner. LOL What do you think? But I am switching up a lot of my fruits and veggies for organic lately just because I feel like I`m consuming way too many `bad` things from non-organic products. I`m also cutting out a lot of meats from my diet (unless it`s organic) because they inject it with all these hormones/chemicals that does the body tons of icky things. Health comes before taste. That`s how we live a healthy lifestyle. That, and exercising....which I will do eventually. LOL!
