This is a bit of a funny one. I ran across this picture awhile ago on Reddit and I didn`t really think it was post worthy, until I tried it that is. I might be doing more harm than good by putting this idea out there. My only advice is to make sure your toaster has wide enough slots to fit the bread and the cheese in while the toaster is in an on position but unplugged. I didn`t realize that the bread gets closer to the elements when it`s turned on so I ended up with burnt melted cheese all over my toaster which set off the fire alarm and continued to produce black smoke every time I used to toaster for about a month. Moral of the story is, this looks like a quick way to make grilled cheese but you could end up with a much bigger hassle than a dirty frying pan :)
Have any of you ever tried to do this, did it work?
