I know I am not the only girl on the planet who`s ever had this problem, nor will I be the last. But when I get around to painting my nails (it just too damn hot to bother right now) I wanted to know how to possibly avoid getting the bubbles on my nails since I had some trapped on the thumb I tested my new polish out yesterday. And this lead me to everyone`s favorite search engine, google.
This article is written in a clear, concise format that is very easy to read and not dry at all. And a lot of the stuff is also common sense.
One of the things I learned, besides heat not being all that conducive to a bubble-less coat of lacquer, is that shaking the bottle is not a good idea. It is in the sense that all our bottles of nail polish need a good shake from time to time, but the blogger who wrote this little how-to piece is of the opinion that you should not do it right before application since shaking can trap air bubbles in the polish which can lead to bumpy nails. So Im definitely going to try not shaking the bottle right before I apply it to my entire hand next time.
