Today I was out running errands and visiting my parents. While I was I suddenly decided I wanted to swing into Walgreens to see if a polish I have been lusting after was there. I walked in and my eyes locked in on the Sally Hansen Lustre Shine polishes. It was fully stocked. I guess no one in my area is interested in them. I got the single color that I have been drooling over: Lava. They were all very pretty but Lava has been calling to me since I first saw it swatched. Now, the thing I cannot stand about having bought this polish.... after tax it cost me a little over $9.00. I hated to pay that. I only has .33 fl oz of product, which is quite a bit less than the typical bottle of polish AND double what I`m comfortable paying. NOT COOL, SALLY HANSEN! NOT COOL! At least my lusting can end now.
The second thing I came home with is actually something my mom gave me. While we were at her house she asked me if I like vanilla bean scents. Uh, mom, how long have you known me?! OF COURSE! She had recently bought a bunch of her typical Bath & Body Works stuff and told me I could take one of her bottles of the body lotion. It is in the scent Dreamy Vanilla Woods. They describe the scent as a blend of creamy vanilla, white orchid, and saffron woods. It is strong on the vanilla but does have a depth of musk or something. I really like it, though.
So that is it... my extremely tiny little group of items I brought home today. I`m really excited for the nail polish. I want to put it on right now but I`m really trying to work my way through some Halloween designs before it passes. It may have to wait until after I get all of my designs posted.
