Here is just a tiny haul of some things I bought at the mall the other day. I first stopped at Sephora.
I hesitated on getting the Naked 2 palette at first because
1) I just bought the first Naked palette back in Sept
2) I already have a lot of neutral eye shadows & palettes from many other brands
3) I told myself I was going to stop spending on cosmetics and makeup in general
4) I like the packaging of the first palette more (I know this is a lot sturdier but I still like the original packaging)
5) They`re both really similar so there`s no reason to have both
...but knowing me I gave in and purchased it. I couldn`t help myself; I`m obsessed with makeup.
I`m pretty sure you`ve all seen this all over the place. Instead of a mini primer, this palette comes with a mini lipgloss in "Naked". I like the fact that the mirror in this is a lot bigger compared to the first palette. The dual ended brush that is included has a flat eye shadow brush on one end and a rounded blending brush on the other. As far as colour selection, this palette has shades that are cooler tone.
I loved the original Naked palette and I used it practically everday ever since I got it. I`m super excited to use this! I`m pretty sure I`m gonna get a great amount of use from the two.
Next up, I stopped by The Bay to take a look at both Chanel and Dior Spring 2012 collections. I really wanted to grab the nail lacquer in "Waterlily" from Dior but sadly it was all sold out. Waterlily is a nice pale jade green with subtle shimmer and surprisingly it`s suppose to have a rose scent as you apply it on your nails.
Seeing that I wasn`t able to get Waterlily, I walked on over to the Chanel counter. They had a few lipsticks that caught my eyes but it wasn`t until I saw one of their nail lacquer June. June is a pastel apricot cream shade from Chanels Spring 2012 Harmonie de Printemps collection. The lady at the counter swatched it on my nails and I fell in love with the colour. Im a sucker for peachy shades. Although paying $30 for one nail polish is a bit ridiculous, I didn`t own anything similar to this colour. It`s also a limited edition shade so I didn`t want to miss out on it.
