Today, my little sister asked me to do her hair for a quince she was attending.
Curling irons have never worked on mine and my siblings hair type and texture before so we use flat irons to curl our hair.
For this hair style, it took about an hour to get such tight curls. First, I quickly sprayed her hair with a light hair spray (Aqua Net) to hold the curls more effectively. Next, I sectioned her hair off into thin, small sections and curls small pieces at a time to ensure thicker looking hair. After each section I then again sprayed the hair with Aussie`s Instant Freeze hair spray. I highly recommend this spray for styles needs long last hold. I continued this process until her entire head was completely curled. Then I took a hair pick and carefully teased the roots of her hair slightly to add more fullness to the top of her head. I left her bangs alone (as you cant tell) due to the fact that her bangs are short, side swept, and she has a rather large forehead.
This look is very elegant and I wouldn`t personally use for casual hair days or every day looks. I feel this style is more for weddings, large parties (such as quinces), modeling photos, pageants, and special occasions.
The party was from 7:00pm to 12:00am and when she got back home her hair looked as good as when she left the house which is props for the hairspray and the curling technique.
****If anyone was wondering how to curl hair with a flat iron, please comment and ask and I will surely make a short video on the specific technique.
Hope y`all enjoyed! (: Any questions, please comment!
