Tiger Woods admitted he was looking forward to the participation in the U.S. Masters.
The American golfer on Sunday won the Arnold Palmer Invitational by five strokes. Woods had a one stroke advantage at the beginning of the last round and never came close to losing its advantage. He ended the day with two under par, which meant a lead of five over Graeme McDowell.
It was the first victory of the former world number one in the normal PGA Tour the past two and a half years. This victory serves as a warning to their opponents in the Masters which takes place in April. Woods has 4.50 odds to win, Rory McIlroy is 6.00 13.00 and Phil Mickelson.
His swing is very good, almost at its best, and he even managed to convert some putts, a part of your game that ultimately become your Achilles heel.
Woods will now take a week off to prepare for the tournament in Augusta which begins April 5. He plans to end nearly four years without winning the Major played in Georgia.
"I`m pretty excited, so there is no doubt," Woods said before reporters. "It`s always good to get out there and play and I look forward to continuing the work I`ve done so far. Still need to work harder and it`ll be good to take a week off and improve some things."
Tiger Woods has dominated the event last week with the nearest competitor, McDowell, unable to even put pressure on the U.S., much less to win.
