Tie Dye nails
Most people at this know how create newspaper nails. Basically, if you paint your nails in a light shade, you can use rubbing alcohol or vodka to transfer the ink from a newspaper onto you nails.
This is a fun and easy technique to create some nail art.
I was looking to try this, so I was going through the newspaper to see if I could find a section with some unique text. Instead I came across an advertisement that had these abstract tie-dye designs. I decided to try and transfer the image instead of the text.
My nails were already painted white, so all I did next was cut out strips of paper to fit my nails and soak them in rubbing alcohol before applying them on to my nail, with the image facing down. After holding in place for about ten seconds, I peeled away the paper and was left with the image.
Pretty cool huh? It is super important to use a topcoat otherwise your design will rub off.
I got so many complements on this design and it took no time at all. So next time you are going to try newspaper nails, flip through and see if you can find an interesting image instead.
p.s. sorry that my cuticles look kinda gross. Im on the hunt for some good cuticle removers or lotions to help with that problem. Anybody have any suggestions?
