In New Jersey, Hoboken; a new clock was made to wake you up. Theres no snooze button and if you unplug it the batteries takes over. Once the alarm rings, in order for it to stop you must head to the kitchen or bathroom and into the telephone-style keypad put in the day date. This alarm was invented by Paul Sammut, an engineer who lives in Hoboken. He builds and research underwater robots. He built this alarm because he wanted to make something that can force him to get out of bed. To help him make the alarm, he thought about how it was in high school for him. His mother would have to come in his room every morning to force him out of bed. He made a pilot alarm just to try it out. Now, he wakes up before the alarm goes off because he knows that its going to ring. His friend suggested that he should put his product on market and thats what he did. They raised over $150,000 a month. Sammut made so much money, he made a company and now they have over 400 orders.
