Yesterday I talked about how I am trying to eat more healthy and watch what I eat. I had my oatmeal and juice for breakfast and I ended up not eating very healthy for lunch. My husband called me and asked me if I wanted to join him at McDonalds and I said yes because I always like to spend time with my husband. I tried to get smaller portions to try to make up for the poor choice in food. Because of that though, I ended up getting hungry later in the day. So this is what I had for my snack!
I had a handful of pistachios and a fruit, granola and yogurt parfait. I love pistachios and I eat them all the time- except in my oatmeal (see my previous post...)! They are a good snack to keep handy to nibble on throughout the day. I got the fruit, granola and yogurt parfait from Food Lion. This is the best granola and yogurt that I have ever tasted! They are about 3 dollars each, so I kind of expect them to be good... but I didnt realize they would be THAT good! If you have a Food Lion in your town... I highly recommend getting one of these parfaits!
