While I was in San Francisco over spring break I was looking for a pair of sneakers. Nothing special I just really wanted a pair of sneakers that were a little better for exercise than converse (yes yes don`t yell at me. I know converse don`t give me support and they`re bad to exercise in).
I was shopping with my friend at Crossroads Trading Co. which is a thrift store and I was hoping to find some exercise shoes or sneakers at least (as you can tell I`m not huge on exercise shoes or I`d actually be buying legit ones). I was able to find some nike ones which I really wanted but they weren`t my size which is the downside to thrift stores since a majority of the time if it`s not in your size you won`t find another one. I just about gave up when I saw these adidas sneakers in the men`s section. I went over to check it and it was my size in women`s (I`m used to converting sizes since converse is unisex and they always put both women and men sizes). They were good enough for me.
These high tops are really nice and they give me good support. Now I know, these still really aren`t exercise shoes and before you get on my case I bought a pair of nike shoes a couple days ago so shush. But these are actually great for my hip hop classes and dance crew performances and I`ve gotten a lot of compliments on them so I`m quite happy with them. In addition, they were only $12 (yay for thrifting).
