First of all, please excuse the terrible lighting on my pictures. It has been raining all week and we haven`t had much sunlight. Anyways....this weekend I did a little thrifting. I hadn`t been to a thrift store ever since Fall and I had the urge to start thrifting again.
Thrifting takes shopping to a whole other level. You get to shop till you drop without breaking the bank. Most of the items I purchased were as little as 99 cents. You definitely cannot beat that!
My favorite thrift store to shop at is Thrift town because they have the best prices and they constantly email me $5 coupons. I didn`t buy as much as I thought I would this time around but the one who scored was my husband. He usually never buys from thrift stores but he found 10 button down dress shirts for 99 cents each. One of the shirts he purchased was really nice one by YSL!!! 99 cents for YSL???? That`s crazy. Like new condition on all of them too.
I on the other hand didnt` score as big as he did but I did find some really quite bags and sweaters.
What I purchased at Thrift Town:
Striped black and white sweater with gold buttons by CHAPS - $1.99
Forever 21 coral off the shoulder sweater- $1.99
Express cobalt blue button down shirt - $1.99
White and tan crossbody bag- $1.99
Apostrophe shirt dress - $2.99
Black clutch- 99 cents
Light peachy pink oversized sweater- $1.99
The other store I went to was Goodwill. I have been to several Good Wills but usually leave empty handed because I think they are way to pricey for being thrift stores. Some of their clothes are wayyyy too overpriced and I rather buy new clothes with that money but the one I went to did have a really good selection of blazers. I saw a super cute mint colored boyfriend blazer but I din`t get it because it was a size 8 and it was much too big for me which made me sad because I have been looking for a mint blazer everywhere. However, I did find two other really cute blazers that I fell in love with. I didn`t mind paying these prices for used items because I know that if I were to purchase them brand new from a retail store I would end up paying over $30 for each.
What I purchased at Good Will:
Red blazer with gold buttons - $9.99
Cream boyfriend blazer with gold buttons (love!) - $11.99
I really love thriftign because your get a lot of bang for your buck and we all know how much I love to save money when it comes to shopping for clothes :)
Have you been thrifting lately?
