"The truth is beyond us," these are the words to which "X-Files" gave so many meanings, episode by episode. "X-Files" is a department of the FBI, dedicated to solving cases that seem to have paranormal elements. The name comes from the X files where they are stored. In fact, X-Files is the place where UFO reports, abductions of aliens and other mysteries that the FBI does not want to investigate or did not believe in them.

The two are FBI special agents who investigate the unexplained cases whose secrecy is kept by the government. In a short period of time, agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully come to find out highly confidential information about events that were not know to the public. Although the government representatives are trying to suggest that "records" of these unexplained cases are false, the two agents can not accept the idea of paranormal that would be triggere these unexplained events. They put their lives in danger every moment to demonstrate that "the truth is beyond us."
