For Valentine`s Day, my boyfriend took me to see the Vow. I think he may have wanted to see it more than I did! haha. He loves romantic comedies.
I hope many of you know what this movie is about! Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum star in this Nicholas sparks based film.
It`s about a couple who are recently married that get into a car accident. The accident leaves Paige in a coma. When she wakes up, she suffers severe memory loss. Her husband, Leo tries to make her fall for him all over again.
This movie is based on true events. Which makes it that much sweeter, and dramatic.
I personally did not like McAdams hair in this. It just looked so fake, and it was very distracting for me. (I know that probably sounds silly, but I`m being honest)
My boyfriend both agreed that Tatum`s acting was much better than in previous movies. The story was believable. It had some very cute and genuine moments. I thought it did move a little slow. I don`t want to ruin the end for you, but I`ll just say that I was a little disappointed. I thought the movie was going to go in a different direction, but never did.
I still love the Notebook so much better. Overall, it`s a good movie to see, especially if you are in the mood for a drama chick flick. I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
Did you see it yet? My boyfriend enjoyed it probably more than me. Sometimes guys might say they don`t want to see it. Take him to see what he wants next. It always works!
