Last night I watched
The Switch, mainly because I was looking for something nice and not too complicated, starring
Jennifer Aniston. I am a huge fan since
Friends, of course, and I was in the mood of watching a film so I chose this one. It`s a quite predictable romantic comedy, starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Batemal. Kassie Larson (Aniston) has been friends with Wally Mars (Jason Bateman) for years. Wally is a successful New York stock trader, but also a pessimistic introvert terrified of making the jump to marriage and children. He has long been in love with Kassie, but never declared it, and theyve settled for the comfort of a close friendship. Still, Wally is horrified when Kassie, who is in her early 40s, declares she is going to have a baby with the aid of a sperm donor: when befuddled with drink and pills during a preposterous `Kassies Getting Pregnant party, he switches his own sperm for that of the blond donor he calls `The Viking, Roland (Patrick Wilson). And then forgets all about it. (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/filmreviews/7977930/The-Switch-review.html#) She ends up moving and coming back to Wally seven years later, with Sebastian, her son. As I said, it`s pretty obvious at this point where the film is going and how it`s going to end, but still I think it`s a nice film to watch. Amazing? No. Unique in its genre? No, of course not. But some lines are pretty entertaining and the cast is good. Have you watched it?
