Pogacsa is a typical Hungarian pastry, that is more than a bread but less then a pastry. It has various ways of making it, from adding cheese, to crackling. The main ingredients are eggs, butter, milk or cream or sour cream. It can contain various amount of different kind of seeds. I personally really love it, especially how my grandmother makes it. It`s so good.
It`s a very traditional, but as i researched in Slovakia there is a similar kind of pastry, that`s almost the same, though the name is different of course.
It can be eaten alone as a snack or with different kinds of soups. I prefer the one with cheese on the top, it`s so yummy.
Have you heard about it?
