I was in the train the other day and came across this poster. The Great Googa Mooga! It`s an event in May that`s at Prospect Park in New York City that will feature live music, tons of food vendors (NOM!), 75 in fact. And how about 35 Breweries and 35 Winemakers! I`m not much of a drinker, but those that do will get wasted. lol.
I`m there for the food vendors including:
Baohaus Big Gay Ice Cream Blue Ribbon Brindle Room The Burger Joint Char No. 4 Co. Cookin` With Coolio Colicchio & Sons Craft Crawfish Monica Crif Dogs DBGB Kitchen and Bar Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Dirty Bird To Go Do or Dine DuMont Burger Frankies 457 Spuntino Hill Country Barbecue Market Joseph Leonard The Lobster Place Landhaus Little Muenster Luke`s Lobster M. Wells The Meat Hook Mile End Momofuku Milk Bar Num Pang Sandwich Shop Pok Pok Wing Porchetta Red Hook`s El Olomega Pupusas Red Rooster Harlem Roberta`s Russ & Daughters Seersucker Simply Chicken by Jean-Georges Souvlaki GR The Spotted Pig Sullivan St Bakery Third Rail Coffee Shop Tia Pol Vinegar Hill House
I`ve only tried Dinosaur BBQ which is amazing. It`s all the way in Harlem if you ever have a chance to go, go try them! The admission is free which include the two stages of live music. However the food and drinks are pay as you go.
Prospect Park which this event is taking place is huge. There`s the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Prospect Park Zoo adjacent which you can take your families after the event or even before.
Talk the TALK
