The Face Shop Phytogenic Infinite Foundation

I bought this foundation from the FaceShop a few weeks ago because my friend tried the sample and really loved it.

Sadly, this foundation only comes in two shades NB21, and NB23. I believe there was originally an NB25 but I don`t remember exactly why they took it out. So if you`re more on the dark side, then I wouldn`t recommend this since there isn`t a wide range of shades.

The packaging is really cute! And for $21 I believe you do get a lot of product. The pump is really nice and it doesn`t get out of control.

It says it`s suitable for all skin types and it comes with 35 ml of product, or 1.18 fl oz. It`s supposed to have a matte finish that hides skin imperfections and also light weight. It features shine control effect and it has light-reflecting pigments to hide the appearance of wrinkles.

I don`t think this foundation controls shine and oil that much. It is matte after I apply it but my face becomes oily throughout the day. I have oily skin and I still find myself blotting every 2 to 3 hours. (which I don`t mind because I`m mostly bored in class) You can see all the glitters of the foundation when you`re in the sun though but I don`t really care much for that. It does a decent job at hiding imperfections but I still have to do a little more cover up so I just use my Sonia Kashuk concealer palette.

I`m still not sure how I feel about this yet. I`ve only used it with translucent powder, maybe it`ll work better with matte powder?
