So i have been going through this gym addiction lately and it has also made me take more notice with what i`m eating. I`ve always been a bit overweight and untoned, and never had motivation to do something to make me feel better about myself.
I was flicking through the iphone apps in the Health and Fitness section (maybe this blog should go in the technology or health and beauty area!) and found this app called `My Fitness Pal`. You keep tabs each day with what you eat, it has a huge database of foods (like over a million) which includes the calorie content. And you also add the excercise that you do each day and log your progress. You log your starting weight and log what your goals are and it will tell you what your calorie goal for each day is.
It`s such a great way to motivate you to keep healthy and a clear way to see the results. the app itself is actually addictive too!
Anyone out there that is struggling to find a way to love sport, fitness and diet to make you all round healthier then i suggest you get this app on your iphone IMMEDIATELY. You won`t regret it. it`s the best thing i`ve done for my body and self esteem!
