"francesinha", a typical dish of the city of Porto, Portugal. The "francesinha" consists of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and steak of beef or, alternatively, pork roast and afatiado, covered with cheese (melted later). It is usually garnished with a tomato-based sauce, beer and chilli. The accompaniments of fried eggs (at the top of the sandwich) and fries are optional.
