When people visit Barcelona, this street is often the first tourist attraction that they identify with, winding through the centre of the city it is an extremely busy street filled with music and action. FC Barcelona and Camp Nou
A must for all football fans. A trip around the grounds and the museum allows you to get to know all about the club and where it came from. You can gaze about cabinets containing trophies won by the club and look at photographic exhibits. In addition to this you can even walk through the players tunnel and see exactly what it feels like to almost be one of the players!
La Sagrada Familia
La Sagrada Familia is a famous Cathedral and is the work of a celebrated architect Antonio Gaudi. It has been under construction since 1882 and is still being constructed to this day. Gaudi shaped the face of the project by adding to it with this architectural style, which was made up of Gothic art forms. It has been quoted as being the most extraordinary personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages.
Made famous for being home to the only Albino Gorilla in the world, Snowflake, until his death a few years back. It is also home to chimps, hippos, lions, giraffes and more! You can easily spend a whole day here soaking up the sun and having a wander round the park in which it is situated in. Be sure to check out the dolphin show which is a favourite for both children and adults.
Arc de Triomf
The arc was the brainchild of Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas, who constructed the piece in a colourful brick. Standing at 30 metres tall the arc is decorated lavishly with beautiful tiles and the Spanish coat of arms. You can find the Arc just a short walk away from the Parc de la Ciutadella which houses Barcelona Zoo!
The Magic Fountain
This fountain is a spectacular sight to see when it is lit up. It constantly changes its shape and colours and brings in crowds of hundreds and hundreds of people who enjoy watching the combination of music, lights and water. Find it in the Montjuïc neighbourhood of Barcelona.
