So I have this thing about people looking down on tattoos and asking why I want them and "don`t you think you`re going to regret that when you get older?"
The answer is no. I will not regret it. There are so many things that mean so much to me, that I feel compelled to have some of them drawn upon my skin. It is not your place to look down on me for said choice. It`s my body and I will do as I please with it. These tattoos that I plan on getting mean something. Some are dedication pieces, others are things that helped me through a really hard time in my life.
So many people judge others for their tattoos before they even know what the story behind it is.
Parents always taught us "don`t judge a book by it`s cover." Well, guess what, some covers have more pictures than others. It doesn`t make anyone a bad person, or irresponsible, or anything else anyone decides to say to people that have tattoos. They`re artwork. A piece of our lives that meant so much to us that we want to be forever reminded of it. And we want others to be able to ask about it and tell them how much it means to us.
There is no need to judge people because they have tattoos. Some of the best people I know have tattoos.
