Even though this set is no longer available I still wanted to review it for you guys because you can still pick up some Tarte LipsSurgence balms. I hadn`t really tried any of Tarte`s products until they released a ton of cute holiday sets last year. I started off with the Amazonian Clay blush set and fell completely in love with it. I loved them so much I went ahead and bought the Statement Lips set to try out their LipSurgence balms. I am thoroughly impressed! A couple of the balms in the set were a little sheer but for the most part they`re nicely pigmented. Not to mention they feel great on! They`re pretty moisturizing and glide across my lips very easily. I love that I don`t have to deal with too much feathering or settling either. I also liked the mint scent. It may be a little strong for those with sensitive noses but it does smell really good. There`s also a bit of a tingling sensation when I apply them. It doesn`t last too long but it feels pretty nice. The packaging is very cute and chic. I love that it has a push up design like a lipstick. They`re very easy to apply and the chubby tip is perfect for my fuller lips. My favorite out of the set is definitely Exposed. It`s a gorgeous matte pinky beige nude color that feels pretty nice on. It`s very matte but not too drying. I totally recommend trying out these Tarte lippies. Totally worth it!
