I have done quite well holding off on buying stuff when I am out. This weekend, I did end up buying just a few things. This is a much smaller haul than some of the others I have done recently. I got 3 beauty products and 1 movie.
First, the movie. I won`t deny it.. I watch the Twilight movies and enjoy them. I own the other three and since this one just came out, well, I had to get it. I can`t just stop after three. I already saw it in theatres, but I`m sure I will be watching it again now.
For the beauty products! I`m kind of on a cheek kick. I`ve been playing around with cream blushes and such. I actually wanted to find a liquid stain. I thought at one point I saw some from Napoleon Perdis, but that would have been a long time ago when I wasn`t really interested. I didn`t see any, though. I did, however find two other cheek products that caught my attention.
The first is from Pixi. It is their Sheer Cheek Gel. The package says "Sheer Cheek Gel is translucent, hydrating, & long lasting. It`s a cheek gel stain that adds a delicate flush of color without looking like you are wearing makeup. Oil-free and skin softening, each sheer cheek gel is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and infused with skin-soothing aloe vera." I`m going to give it a shot. I haven`t heard much, if anything, about these. According to Petra this product is their best selling item since they opened Pixi in 1998. OH!! I bought this in the color Rosy.
The next cheek item is from Sonia Kashuk. I didn`t see any other pan cream blushes I wanted but then I saw these pump style ones. I know nothing about this except it is a "super sheer liquid tent." The super sheer part makes me a bit nervous. I hope it wasn`t a waste. My curiosity got the best of me, though, and I had to try it. I bought this in the color Peony.
The very final item is another Sonia Kashuk one. It is their blending sponge. I have heard mixed reviews on this. It seems that anyone who has tried the Beauty Blender says they dislike the Sonia Kashuk sponge. But, I`ve not tried the Beauty Blender, so I figured for just around ten dollars I would give this one a shot. I`m very curious about it because I don`t use makeup sponge wedges, never have. I don`t care for them. I always use my fingers or different brushes.
So, that is it for my haul! I hope you all had a great weekend!
