Target Haul !

Last night as I was washing my face, preparing to go to bed, I noticed a huge monster on my face! I couldn`t believe it, I hadn`t looked at myself in the mirror since the morning and I couldn`t believe that in a matter of hours I huge pimple formed on my face without any warning. For the past year or so I have been struggling with acne, so much, it literally makes me cry. Ok so maybe I am sounding a bit dramatic here...but it`s very very frustrating!

I think it was the Sheercover face primer that broke me out because that was the only thing I had done different all week. It`s also close to that "time of the month" so it could just be hormonal acne. But whatever it is, I hate it and I want it gone before my sister`s birthday party this weekend.

I can`t afford any expensive dermatologist visits so I have to stick to OTC products, which I am okay with as long as they work. I placed a Lush order online today for my Mask of Magniminty mask which has always been a favorite of mine and helps a lot with break outs. So while I wait for that to get here (I ordered from the UK site....cheaper and same price for shipping), I decided to check out Target to see if I could find a new face wash and spot treatment.

I was very impressed with the Simple face wipes so I decided to give the face wash a try. It sounds promising so I really hope it works for me. I had a $1 off coupon so I thought why not. As a matter of fact I think I used coupons on most of the products I purchased tonight.

For spot treatment I decided to go with Clean & Clear advantage popped pimple relief drying paste. It had raving reviews on Makeupalley and I tend to be a pimple popper so I decided to give this a shot. A lot of people on makeupalley claimed that this is their HG spot treatment and its life changing so I am really hoping it works for me as well. I had a $1 coupon for this as well..

I purchased a few makeup products which is strange to me because I usually never buy makeup. I had been wanting to try Neutrogena`s Healthy Skin foundation with SPF 20 for the longest time so I decided to finally give it a try because I am looking for a foundation to replace my Avon Ideal Flawless (not that it`s a bad foundation but I wanted something lighter for the Summer). I used a $2 Target coupon on this purchase.

I had been wanting a new mascara as well so I decided to try Covergirl`s lashblast volume, because again, I had a coupon for this. I purchased to of them because the coupon was Buy one get one free and I could also use a $1 off coupon in conjunction with that so it came down to $5 for two mascaras....pretty good right?

The last makeup product I purchased was maybelline`s instant age rewind eraser for dark circles. I am not sure if I am going to love this product but I really hope so. Let me know if any of you like (or dislike this product).

I had a $1 off 2 Aussie products coupon so I decided to get my favorite conditioner ever, the 2 Minute Miracle as well as try their Miraculousy Smooth shampoo. I wanted their Moist shampoo but my Target didn`t have it so I grabbed this one instead. I don`t remember the last time I used an Aussie shampoo (or if I ever have) but I am a big fan of their 3 min miracle so I am sure I will love this as well.

The last product I bought today was a Suave professionals Keratin infusion dry shampoo. I just started working out last week and have had to wash my hair everyday leaving it dry and brittle so I decided to try a new dry shampoo so I won`t have to wash my hair everyday. This was the last one left on the shelf so It`s probably a sign that it`s good. It was dirt cheap, so even if I hate it it`s not a big deal.

What I purchased:

Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Moisturizing facial wash- $6.99 (used $1 off coupon; paid $5.99)
Clean & Clear Advantage popped pimple relief drying paste $6.27 (used $1 off coupon; paid $5.27)

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser dark circles- $6.94
2 Covergirl lashblast volume mascaras in very black -$5.94 each (used Buy one get one free coupon + $1 coupon; paid $4.94 for both)
Aussie 3 minute miracle moist deep conditioner- $3.44 (used $1 off 2 Aussie products; paid $2.44)
Aussie Miraculously smooth shampoo -$4.99
Suave professional keratin infusion dry shampoo- $2.74
