Today I went to Target looking to get a pair of boots that I had seen at a different location last weekend. Well, that was foiled. :-( The location I went to this time didn`t have them. I`m going to try to go to another Target tomorrow (haha, my husband is going to absolutely LOVE that.... <--sarcasm there).
However, I also wanted to try the Revlon Colorstay foundation. It tends to get good reviews and a lot of people say if you have oily skin it is amazing. Well, I went ahead and grabbed a bottle. I THOUGHT I grabbed Ivory, but it is Buff instead. However, I did swipe it onto my jaw line when I noticed this (at home) and it seems to actually match amazingly well....so it is probably a good thing that I made a mistake and picked up this bottle.
I was going to get another Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda palette but I really dislike that I really only use the one lightest shade in the quad. And in the dead of winter even that one is a bit too dark for my coloring. I looked at the other concealers in the Sonia Kashuk section and noticed a stick concealer. I haven`t had a stick concealer in, probably, 6 years. I used to have one by Maybelline that I loved but they stopped making it. I picked up the color Dawn as it was the lightest they had. They only carry three colors. I haven`t used it yet but I swiped some onto my wrist and it seems like it covers pretty well. I have pretty large wrist tattoos and it muted down the area of the tattoo I tested it on. I`m going to wear this and the foundation tomorrow so I`ll really know how it works. I`m hoping, though, that because I enjoy the Hidden Agenda concealer so much and it lasts all day that this will work similarly.
The final thing I bought was another Sonia Kashuk product. I LOVE her blushes.... absolutely love. I needed a good fall blush and wandered up and down the aisles of Target looking for something that caught my attention. I had a mauve color from Elf in my hands but then decided to ultimately put it down when I came across this one by Sonia Kashuk. It is in the color Spice. It looks like it might have the tiniest hint of sheen, but not a lot.
If you have any drugstore suggestions for good Autumn blushes for very fair skin, PLEASE let me know! I`d like to get one or two more. I`m still thinking that maybe I should get the ELF one I was looking at. I think it was called Mellow Mauve.
