With the announcement last week that Target is planning to close in Canada, I decided to stop by before they finalize the decision of closing down my local store. There wasn`t anything in particular that I needed to buy but while walking around, I decided to pick up some basic items that I would use in the future.
- Jsön Long & Strong Jojoba Shampoo: I have tried their moisturizing pure shampoo before and liked it and wanted to try another shampoo by them. I decided to get the Long & Strong since I have long hair that is prone to breakage when brushing. I thought this shampoo would be appropriate for meeting my needs. But the smell was not that great unfortunately. I think it`s because they are an all nature brand that doesn`t use artificial scents, which is good but I can`t get over the smell of it.
-Dove Fresh Deodorant: I decided to pick up an extra Dove deodorant in Plum and Sukra Blossom just in case I one day forget to buy some and run out. This is my favourite scent by them because it`s nice and feminine but not overpowering. I wish they carried this in a gel form because solid deodorants leave white marks which is hard to remove and annoying when you find them.
-Summer Eve`s Cleansing Wash: I have heard many good things about this brand but never really tried them before. So I decided to pick up the unscented version because I didn`t like the lavender scent they offered. I`m not really sure if there is a major difference in using a female wash and just body wash. Some may say you must use female wash because it `balances your pH` but are you really going to take a pH test every time to ensure you`re at the `right` level?
Overall, I am not really sad to see Target go mainly because I find their stores are very empty and limited compared to stores in the US. I generally shop there because it`s convenient and don`t find their prices to really be cheaper than people say.
Do you use a female cleansing wash?
