Tangle Teezer Review
After hearing a lot about the Tangle Teezer, I hunted it down at Sally Beauty Supply in a haul you can see here: http://www.luuux.com/beauty/sally-beauty-supply-haul-14.
Ive been using it for the past few weeks, and I am really loving it.
I have very thick, curly hair, but my hair is also prone to breakage and to falling out. The Tangle Teezer is supposed to tame even the thickest hair without any pulling or breaking, and I have to say I have seen significant improvement in my hair since Ive starting using it!
The best part of this brush is that it actually is Pain free. It detangles my hair will minimal pain. Sometimes, I even doubt if its detangling my hair, but I can easily run my fingers through it once Im done using it.
It is kind of strange when you first start using it since it doesnt have a handle, but I adapted to it very quickly.
The one frustrating thing about this brush is that it is very difficult to clean. When hairs get stuck between the bristles, its difficult to get them out. It also collected lots of fibers and such. Ive actually taken an old (clean!) toothbrush and I use it to clean the brush.
I really like this brush. My sister also keeps borrowing it, so I may have to go get her one of her own! LOL
I did also find a similar brush called the Hair Bean at the dollar store for only 2 dollars. I bought it to test it out, so I will do a comparative review later on! :)
If its just as good, maybe I will give my sister the Hair Bean and keep using this myself.
