Tandoori Chicken Salad

I love Indian food. But usually when I get an Indian takeaway, it`s always too creamy, too fatty & most importantly, no sign of vegetables! I`ve learned from my Indian friends that the authentic Indian food are not fatty. They never put cream in their food. The creamy buttery flavour you get is from Ghee and/or yoghurt. Since then I`ve been experiencing with homemade Indian food. I`m surprised how easy it is to make. The other day I made Tandoori paste from scratch. I marinated some chicken breast (cut into bite size) in the paste & cook in the oven. I served the chicken over green salad (simply iceberg lettuce, tomato & red onion). I had some leftover for dinner which I served over cooked basmati rice with some steamed vegetables.
