Thank you for helping us by reporting bad content.
Being so fair, I`m always on the lookout to achieving a tanner skin tone. When I heard about St. Tropez and their bronzing products, I was immediately drawn in.
I have this bad feeling that all self tanners result in orange palms and streaky tan lines, but for some reason, I felt that the mousse would be different, and it certainly was!
I bought this for $40 (8 fl. oz.) at Sephora, which is a bit pricier than others, but I didn`t mind as Sephora gives reward points, and I`ve had my eye on this for a while. I also went ahead and bought the applicator mitt to avoid any staining on my hands.
I have to say, I am very pleased with the results.
When you first apply the self tanner, you will notice it may not look completely natural on the skin, after you apply it everywhere, you should wait a minute or two to get dressed, after that, you wait 4-6 hours to shower and reveal your true golden glow.
The mousse itself has a more green as opposed to orange undertone, don`t be alarmed, this will just decrease the chances for orange skin as green opposites red/orange on the color wheel.
I would recommend trying this out before any big event to make sure it works well for you and to avoid any problems.
To extend the life of your tan, make sure to exfoliate before applying to avoid dead skin.
I use this once or twice a week to maintain the bronze glow.
If your skin ranges anywhere from fair to olive, definitely give this product a go, I have not come across any problems after multiple uses.
As for the applicator mitt, I would say to pass. I feel as if it soaks up some of the product, and, as you can see from the picture above, gets pretty gross looking after a few uses. Try to opt for thin latex gloves to apply with.
I hope this review helped you and let me know if you have any further questions!
