At Radisson Blue hotel located in Berlin, there is a 82 foot Aquarium in the hotel lobby. The tank holds about 1 million liters of seawater and over 1,500 tropical fish -- in which there are 56 different species of fish. The aquarium however isn`t managed by the hotel but by Sea Life Berlin Aquarium and there are two full time scuba divers who care, feed and maintain the aquarium. Sounds like a fun job but not something I can do cause I`m not a great swimmer.
There are also rooms that have views of the underwater world for 180 Euros which is equivalent to $236 US. By the way, this is the largest cylindrical aquarium!
Do you think it`s a smart idea to have an elevator in an aquarium?
Would you have a fun time riding the elevator?
Wouldn`t it be cool if your full time job is to scuba dive and clean the tank?
Although the aquarium looks super cool and pretty- I would be scared to ride the elevator. Why? I have a fear of elevators breaking down and the possibility of getting stuck. And, in this case- what if the elevator gets stuck? That would be crazy!
I bet if the hotel wanted to corporate with Sea Life Berlin Aquarium they should allow tourists to scuba dive with the fish for more money but I doubt it cause it`s such a large aquarium and not everyone has strong swimming skills but that would be pretty cool. :)
