This manicure came about because, as is common for me, I had no ideas already in mind. I was hanging out around my polishes looking through the colors and hoping inspiration would spring forth. Luckily, something did. I selected three pink(ish) shades and decided to do a gradient with them. The colors aren`t really similar, yet I felt I could get them to mesh nicely. I started by applying my base coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails. Next I swiped on OPI Pink-Ing Of You. With an old, clean eyeshadow applicator I sponged on OPI Charged Up Cherry to 2/3 of the nail. Then, I sponged on OPI Miami Beet to the lower 1/3 of the nail. After the colors had a small amount of time to set up, I used Pure Ice in Silver Mercedes on plate BM 310 to stamp the cross cross, semi-fishnet design. If you haven`t been able to tell, I`ve gotten a ton of use out of Silver Mercedes. It definitely lives up to the reputation it has gotten for being a fantastic silver stamping polish. I appreciate how affordable of a price tag it comes with, too!
