Hi everyone! Here is another swatch post of another of the new Revlon Shadowlinks Eyeshadows that I purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond about a month ago. I purchased 5 shades in total, and have already done swatches of Bone, Oyster and Taupe (links will be below), and this is a post for one of the darker shades, Cocoa.
>> I bought mine from Bed, Bath and Beyond but these should be popping up at other retailers soon
>> `Cocoa` is a dark brown matte or satin (I can`t remember which)
>> Texture was very hard and dry
>> Had better pigmentation than the lighter shades I purchased
>> These are designed to be bought with others in the collection and linked together to create a custom palette, which is a cool idea and even if you only buy one shadow it`s small enough for travel and touch ups
>> This particular shade was nice but I only bought it to complement the `Taupe` shade, which is the one I really wanted, and I have lots of other matte browns that are nicer than this one so it wasn`t worth keeping.
Overall I think the concept of these eyeshadows is really cool, but the quality is just not great. Also, if you plan on buying a lot of these a full price it will definitely add up: 4 of these at $3 a piece will mean a $12 drugstore quad.
Thanks for reading! Have you tried any of these Shadowlinks yet? What did you think of them?
